Mitchell Continues to Build Strong In-State Support
BIRMINGHAM, AL—Former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell announced today that his campaign for Attorney General raised $130,900 during the month of September, emphasizing that 99.9% of those dollars—again—came from conservative donors right here in Alabama.
Mitchell has reported a total of $2,168,923.01 since announcing his candidacy in early June and continues to lead the race with a substantial $1,964,744.56 in cash on hand.
The campaign underscored Mitchell’s consistent fundraising performance, as it reflects sustainable momentum and widespread in-state support: “Our message resonates with conservatives across Alabama because they’re frustrated with the status quo.”
Mitchell said, “Voters know that I am the candidate who will move the needle on the issues that interfere with their daily lives. They know I will not tolerate violent crime or entertain woke nonsense, and they are confident in my commitment to providing a stable regulatory environment.”
Meanwhile, candidate Katherine Robertson reported a SECOND major contribution from out-of-state abortion activist Hugh Culverhouse Jr.—a move that doubles down on her pro-abortion ties.
Mitchell responded: “What is the price of a human life? There is no amount of money that could justify selling political influence to someone whose goal is to promote and facilitate the killing of unborn children. Not in Alabama. Not anywhere.”
He continued, “Pro-life Alabamians can rest assured: I will not compromise. I will protect the sanctity of life with everything that I have, and I will never take a dime from anyone who ruthlessly celebrates abortion.”
“Instead, my campaign will keep working hard to earn our support from voters who share our pro-life, pro-Trump, pro-Alabama values,” Michell said.
