Jay Mitchell Kicks Off New Year with $2.24 Million in Cash on Hand

Mitchell Expands Lead with In-State Support and Disciplined Spending

BIRMINGHAM, AL—Attorney General candidate Jay Mitchell begins the new year with $2,244,112.66 in cash on hand, widening his lead in the race to nearly $800,000 and solidifying his position as the candidate of choice for Alabama conservatives.

The Mitchell campaign raised $139,500 during the month of December. Per usual, the vast majority of this month's funds came from conservative donors in Alabama.

Mitchell said, "Alabamians are sending a clear message: maintaining the status quo isn't enough. They want an Attorney General who will go on offense for their values and put their tax dollars to work making Alabama a better place to live."

The campaign emphasized that Mitchell's expanding lead is driven by broad in-state support, consistent fundraising, and disciplined spending.

"The groundswell of support for my campaign is nothing short of a mandate from Alabama conservatives. It's my job to honor their support by working hard and spending wisely. I owe it to them to win this race," said Mitchell.

Mitchell's strong financial position reflects deep support from law enforcement leaders, business owners, and conservative families across Alabama who support principled leadership and accountability in the Attorney General's Office.

As the campaign enters 2026, support for the Mitchell campaign underscores growing momentum behind his vision for the future of Alabama.
